PolyReg Money Laundering Compliance Organisation
As a service provider in the financial sector, artax Fide Consult AG, as financial intermediary, is a member of PolyReg and thus subject to the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering Act. PolyReg ensures that every member is examined approximately once a year at their premises, by an inspection body to confirm compliance with the provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering Act in terms of due care and reporting obligations. Additionally, regular further professional training is compulsory.

Federal Audit Oversight Authority FAOA
Both subsidiary companies of artax Fide Consult AG, BM Swiss Audit AG (licensed auditor for limited audits) and BM Expert Audit AG (licensed specialist auditor for ordinary audits) have been awarded recognition as professional auditors by the Federal Audit Oversight Authority FAOA.

The FAOA is responsible to review every five years whether registered auditing companies still fulfil the criteria for inclusion in the professional register. The top priorities of these checks are reviewing compliance with legal requirements and reviewing compliance with the requirements of the internal quality assurance management.

Dr. iur. Bernhard Madörin is a fully qualified and registered auditing expert, and he is heading our team of auditors that includes two further registered auditing experts and four registered auditors.

Data back-up and data security
artax Fide Consult AG has an internal solution for all its IT systems. Access is by a doubly secured login. No data is stored on a Cloud. Each evening, via secure cable, an encrypted backup of data is performed into a certified off-site data centre which is situated in a former military bomb shelter that has new protection measures installed. In the event of any unplanned outage, a complete recovery of all data can be sourced from backup within less than half a day.
